Tools and Development

When it comes to eLearning development in Storyline, many of us are looking for new ways to use interactions to enhance our content in interesting and meaningful ways. While sliders may seem like a simple interaction at the surface, there’s a lot you can do to use them in surprising and creative ways.

In this hands-on session you’ll get tips and tricks for how you can create innovative interactions in Storyline with sliders. When using Storyline 360 sliders in your eLearning courses, you can show layers or change states. However, there are so many more creative uses to engage the learner! During this session you’ll learn how to use a slider to move another object on the same slide. You’ll also walk through the steps to move a large, grouped object that might extend beyond the borders of the slide.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to create an interactive slider beyond simply showing layers or changing states
  • How to use a slider to move another object on the slide
  • How to use a slider to move a grouped object or large picture that extends off of the slide horizontally or vertically
