P07 - BYOD: Practical Solutions for Creating Simple 3D AR/VR Interactive Lessons
Virtual and augmented reality have held a particularly high appeal for several years now, but the production costs of such projects is generally considered too high for training. New solutions have emerged that will allow rapid democratization of authoring 3D interactive training thanks to negligible costs and extraordinary simplification of content creation.
Using interactive activities to build 360 VR/AR applications, you'll learn how to create simple VR/AR content. We'll leverage budget-friendly tools to develop your own simple applications giving you a jumping-off point for building your VR/AR development skills even further. We'll explore Adobe Captivate 2019's ability to create VR projects, how to add 360-degree images and videos to a virtual reality project, and how to add hotspots, labels, and questions to create interactivity in a virtual reality project. We will also discuss the various hardware and software packages useful to support your project. This session will also enable you to create AR applications using Zappar's Zapworks to create create AR applications, launching you and your team's ability to bring augmented reality solutions to your organization in a fast and cost-efficient way.
