Interactions have always been great for eLearning to engage learners. Sometimes we design custom game-like interactions to fit our organization's culture or specific business needs. Other times we reimagine classic interactions, games, or other experiences and redesign them for learning interactions. Designing custom game-like interaction takes more time and effort but developing one in Articulate Storyline 360 doesn't need to be overwhelming. By understanding the building blocks and features of Storyline 360 and leveraging object states, slide layers, and conditional triggering with a few basic variables, it is simply putting all the pieces together in the right place. But we first need a plan.
In this session we will study a prepared design document and a storyboard with step-by-step instructions for development. We'll discuss how and where to look for patterns that can be duplicated in Storyline for efficient workflows. We'll look at a few practical applications and you'll takeaway the game-like interaction you developed in this session along with a few bonus game-like interactions. Articulate Storyline 360 remains the top of the class for developing eLearning courses and with its continuous advancement in new features and built-in tools, allows us more flexibility to design interactions with more engaging experiences. This session will ease the anxiety by exploring a fundamental design and development process of how to get your ideas into Articulate Storyline 360 and develop with confidence.
